Central Library

The institution has a well-equipped and sophisticated Central E-Library with a collection of more than 6,054 books for the use of staff and students. The collection includes books on Science, Engineering, Technology, and General Interest.

The library provides facilities to read books, magazines, newspapers, and technical journals subscribed by the institution. These facilities are available in the E-Library-cum-Reading Room. The library offers a variety of services and acts as a strong support and inspiration to the teaching and learning community of technical education.

The GP,Berhampur Library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today’s information- and knowledge-based society. The library equips students with life-long learning skills and helps develop imagination, enabling them to grow as responsible citizens.

Circulation Section The Circulation Section is responsible for issuing books to students and staff through the e-Granthalaya Library Software.

Stack Room:

The Stack Room is a closed access area where books are arranged branch-wise and subject-wise. Books are stored in open racks, glass almirahs, and closed almirahs. Borrowers can access the required books either through the library system or directly from the subject-wise almirahs.

Reference Section:

The Reference Section remains open during working hours. It provides desk facilities to students and staff and houses a collection of 1500 reference books, 2 daily newspapers (Odia and English), and 8 technical journals and magazines.
